U.S.D.C. is known as one of the most prestigious competitions of the United States. The top dancers of the United States and the world come to this event for a week to compete to be the top in their division.
This year Pewaukee was proud to have Miss Pam Olsen, and Miss Annalise Scaffidi represent us at this year's U.S.D.C.
This is Pam's second time competing at U.S.D.C. After a week of laughing, hair spray, rhinestones, and of course dancing, we're so proud of how Miss Pam did up against the best of the best. Making the semi finals in both of her Rhythm and smooth Championships, she also made the final in her Latin and Standard Championships. Her hard work paid off as she stood on the podium with the other ballroom superstars. Pam first walked through our doors swearing that she was a die-hard golfer and we wouldn't see her once summer came. Now, we can't imagine what our studio would do if she didn't come in every day. Her smile and determination is never un-noticed on the floor and in the presents of others. Annalise is a first time competitor at U.S.D.C. but she is no stranger to the Ballroom world. She first started dancing at the young age of 6 years old, and has grown to be quite the young star. Regionally competing she has taken top junior solo and first place in all of her divisions. Now, competing in one of the most anticipated ballroom competitions of the year, she took 2nd place in the Junior Latin and Smooth Championships, and 1st place in the Junior American Rhythm Championship. Many say that Ballroom comes natural to Annalise and runs in her blood, and we couldn't agree more.Pewaukee is thrilled to be represented so well and will always look back on the fond memories of the week.
